Dodge Challenger Rental

The all new 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Hemi is available for rental now at Olympic Rent-A-Car of Beverly Hills.  This assume high performance, muscle car is available in Black with a Gray racing strip running down the front hood.  You may remember seeing the original version of this vehicle in the Dukes of Hazard on TV.  Its recent modern version has also been recently seen on NCIS Los Angeles show on CBS.

Either way there are some updated body changes from the 80′s to the newest version in 2010.  However, for the most part the Dodge Challenger is still just amazing then and still awesome now!  It is hard to believe that Dodge was still able to make this Challenger like like its older sibling, but just modified in to the future.

Making a choice of finding a fun, powerful rental car while her in LA is sometimes a hard choice.  The Dodge Challenger SRT8 makes that choice seem easy.  With its rugged yet macho look, fast and loud powerful engine roaring sound down Sunset Blvd. makes you not want to ever return your rental vehicle.

The $43,655 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is challenging. Challenging to certain male egos. Challenging even to some muscle-car aficionados who think the big, bad Dodge is just a little too retro.  If you like attention you’ll get plenty driving this car.

2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8

The 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is a powerful and capable back road burner — giving competitors like the Mustang Shelby GT500 and Camaro SS a run for their money. Edmunds writes, “Comfortable, stylish and impressively capable in terms of performance, the…Dodge Challenger is exactly what a modern version of an old muscle-car icon should be.”

The 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 — which is visually distinguished from the base Challenger trims by its racing stripes, sport seats and high-performance logos – ups the ante with a 425-horsepower HEMI V8 engine, Brembo brakes and many other enhanced performance components. Overall, auto writers report that the package is a success, “Inspired by the 1970s original, this retro coupe takes athletic responses and sports-car braking and adds them to the good looks and tire-shredding power of the original,” writes Car and Driver.

The Challenger, especially the SRT version, is just so badass that you’ve got to be the most jaded of the cynical not to smile when you see or drive it. The Hemi and its exhaust make great sounds, almost too much noise if you expect a quiet and leisurely cruise, even on the highway at constant speed. A constant baritone drone reminds you there are plenty of horses underfoot, and they respond strong to your call.
