Louis Vuitton just printed its new Los Angeles City Guide 2010.  This new high end guide is printed and distributed to its luxury clients, stores and retailers all over the world.  It covers everything from what Hotels to stay in while in Los Angeles, where to eat, what to see, where to be seen, and even where to rent a luxury or exotic car while in LA.

Under the “Hotels” and “Car Rental, Roads and Rules” on page 38 the following is mentioned about Olympic Rent-A-Car of Beverly Hills, CA.  “The Los Angeles airport (LAX) has all the major car rental companies.  …..  If only a Bentley, Rolls Royce, or Mercedes luxury sedan, will do, then Olympic Rent-A-Car is the place for you.”

The article in the guide also says “A car is essential to get anywhere in Los Angeles.  It sprawls from north o south over 100 miles and is split by the backbone of the Santa Monica Mountains, Ocean on one side, Valley the other.  Malibu, for example, home to movie stars, is actually a Highway, one of the world’s most romantic roads.  A trip to Universal Studios means a lengthy journey across the city via 405 and 101 to Burbank.”  At the bottom of the page it lists our company name, phone number and our website address.

Worth the cost: “Spending on business travel can increase company profits, two studies suggest.”

Jump on a jet for that next business meeting and you may be doing more than pocketing free peanuts.  That is the message from two studies released this week that claim a direct tie between spending on business travel and increased company profits.

The U.S. Travel Assn. study based on surveys and “econometric analysis” from the last 13 years, concluded that for every dollar investment in business travel, companies can generate an average of $12.50 in revenue and $3.80 in profit.

Instructions:  Step#1, Despite its status as the world’s most elite credit card, the Black Card requirements are basic. You must have an annual cash flow of $250,000, an United States billing address, and an exceptional credit history. The Black Card is generally given by invitation only, but any AMEX cardholder who believes they can qualify can request that their account be reviewed.

Step #2, AMEX assigns a personal concierge with an email address and a direct phone number to each cardholder. Their job entails gaining impossible dinner reservations and obtaining tickets for sold out shows.

Step #3, If a cardholder loses their wallet or purse, AMEX will arrange to cancel all of their credit cards and have new cards issued immediately.

Step #4, If a cardholder is more than 100 miles from home, AMEX will offer medical, legal, and financial assistance. They will replace lost passports, misplaced prescriptions, arrange for an air ambulance, and monitor medical treatments.

Step #5, A Black Card cardholder enjoys private access to a number of high-end retailers such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. The cardholder member can also request the assistance of a personal shopper during their store outing.

Step #6, AMEX extends the term of the manufacturer’s warranty by three years on all purchases on the Black Card.

Step #7, Cardholders are given access to 530 hotels worldwide and entitled to free room upgrades, late check-out time, and a complimentary breakfast for two.

Step #8, The travel perks is where the Black Card earns it keep. The top benefits include a personal travel consultant, first class seating flight upgrades, a complimentary ticket on transatlantic flight ticket purchases, access to buying flight time on private jets, and annual credit toward the payment of a space flight reservation.

Step #9, If a cardholder’s flight is delayed a day or more, AMEX allots them $250 for hotel, transportation, and other expenses. If a member makes it to their destination and their bags are delayed for longer than three hours, AMEX allows up to $500 for their expenses.
