Louis Vuitton just printed its new Los Angeles City Guide 2010.  This new high end guide is printed and distributed to its luxury clients, stores and retailers all over the world.  It covers everything from what Hotels to stay in while in Los Angeles, where to eat, what to see, where to be seen, and even where to rent a luxury or exotic car while in LA.

Under the “Hotels” and “Car Rental, Roads and Rules” on page 38 the following is mentioned about Olympic Rent-A-Car of Beverly Hills, CA.  “The Los Angeles airport (LAX) has all the major car rental companies.  …..  If only a Bentley, Rolls Royce, or Mercedes luxury sedan, will do, then Olympic Rent-A-Car is the place for you.”

The article in the guide also says “A car is essential to get anywhere in Los Angeles.  It sprawls from north o south over 100 miles and is split by the backbone of the Santa Monica Mountains, Ocean on one side, Valley the other.  Malibu, for example, home to movie stars, is actually a Highway, one of the world’s most romantic roads.  A trip to Universal Studios means a lengthy journey across the city via 405 and 101 to Burbank.”  At the bottom of the page it lists our company name, phone number and our website address.

Olympic Rent-A-Car of Beverly Hills rented a Pink Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster for a music video.  Read all about this amazing transformation with less than 48 hours notice from one of our VIP clients.

“I got a phone call from one of our music production companies     that was looking for a Pink Lamborghini.  I have never seen one yet, the only person that I know that has a Pink exotic vehicle was Paris Hilton.  She drives a Pink Bentley GT.  I did get a call from Spencer asking if we would paint one of our Bentley”s Pink for Heidi a few years back?  But I quickly turned that idea down.  What would I do with a Pink Bentley, how would I be able to sell it again?  I mean how many Pink Bentleys does Paris Hilton want.”

“I was just about to tell my client that the Pink Lamborghini wasn’t going to be a possibility.  Then I thought about some newer technology in the vehicle customization departments.  They have the ability to wrap vehicles with advertisements, mat black finishes and yes why not wrap the entire car in Pink?  Once I presented him with the idea, he took about 30 seconds to think about it and asked can I get it done in such a short time?  I can try,  and anything is possible.  I made a few phone calls and got back to him in 2 hours with a price of $4,500 to wrap the entire vehicle in Pink and unwrap the Pink and bring the car back to its natural White color.  He agreed, and made it a go.”

Now, I would be foolish if I said it was not a tall order and it took plenty of team work between us and the car wrap company.  However we got it all done and the vehicle was placed on our flat bed truck and transported to the set for a music video featuring “Nikki”.  I am still awaiting photos and a copy of the music video to post on our website and blog page.

Funny thing is that a client of ours saw the vehicle on the 101 frwy and snapped some photos of the vehicle.  He called me and asked me if I ever saw a Pink Lamborghini Murcielago convertible?  I laughed and said yeah, that is ours and we just painted it Pink for a client of ours.  He asked me if I had lost my mind!  Then I filled him in on the details.
